NORWICH, ENGLAND / ACCESSWIRE / June 20, 2022 / Netify has recently increased its available cybersecurity and SD WAN vendor listings by 60 percent, driven by increased demand for network and end user security. The cybersecurity marketplace has actively expanded its roster of SASE/SSE Cybersecurity and SD WAN vendors to improve their marketplace supply side amid increased demand, particularly from the US and UK. Netify now offers 107 cybersecurity and SD WAN providers with aspirations to list an additional 200 vendors in future.
The move, amid the launch of their new compare the market assessments for SD WAN comparison and SASE/SSE Cybersecurity comparison, reflects the increased global demand for vendor and provider research to enable faster IT decision making. The demand is driven by the need for IT decision makers to fully understand the crowded security and SD WAN market with many solutions offering broadly similar capability.
The average business invests about 6% to 14% of its annual IT budget on cybersecurity. For a large enterprise, that means allocating $20 million to $50 million of the annual budget to cloud security. This isn't surprising, considering almost half of businesses are streamlining their cloud migration plans to adapt to the current global movement toward digital and cloud spaces.
Budget is not the only resource cybersecurity concerns are eating away. IT decision makers spend months researching and negotiating with SASE and SSE suppliers to identify which vendors and providers are best suited for their business needs. The most recent survey on IT decision makers shows that international companies and enterprises, on average, are aware of only about ten vendors and managed providers in the SASE and SSE space.
The question now for these decision makers is how to minimise and reduce the resources spent finding and retaining these cybersecurity vendors and providers. Some IT decision makers have now turned their attention toward dedicated cybersecurity marketplaces such as Netify, which now has 107 SD WAN and cybersecurity solution providers listed within its marketplace at the beginning of 2022. Netify is positive that this number will continue to grow as both enterprises and suppliers see the value of a dedicated marketplace. 'We expect Netify to continue expanding our supply side to over 200 listings as more UK, US and North American companies benefit from our platform when researching and comparing SASE Cybersecurity/SD WAN,' shares Robert Sturt, founder and managing director of Netify.
Turning to online marketplaces like Netify for cybersecurity solutions benefits enterprises because it introduces their IT to solutions from niche players and startups they have not considered previously. The advantage is that startups are known to offer penetration prices to win the dominant market share. This drastically lowers the amount companies spend on cybersecurity. Decision makers are also able to reduce the time they spend finding the vendors most suitable for their business needs through Netify, as providers are listed according to the solutions and niche, often including research data.
Netify is designed to be a self-serve platform, with listings made accessible and available for everyone to utilise. To further help companies choose the best-suited cybersecurity providers, the platform has recently added a tool that can shortlist the SASE and SD WAN solutions best suited to an enterprise's needs. It also has an advisory consultancy to help decision makers make sense of the research data.
